My work in black and white

During the 1st International Fair of Miniatures in Portugal a young Portuguese photographer Gonçalo Cunha (gon.a.cunha@gmail.com) took some pictures of my things that were on the table, all in black and white and I think they are so beautiful, aren´t they?

Durante a feira de Miniaturas apareceu um jovem fotógrafo, Gonçalo Cunha que me pediu para tirar fotografias das coisas que estavam na minha mesa, fotografias a preto e branco, e eis aqui o resultado, que eu pessoalmente gostei imenso por isso agradeço aqui ao Gonçalo as fotografias que me mandou, e o interesse pelo meu trabalho.

Muito obrigada Gonçalo, quem sabe não vais ser o 1º fotógrafo Português especialista em fotografar miniaturas!!!!

pics of my table to the fair!

This is the way that my table will look like in the fair. I used my dining table, luckly I could arrange the space exactly with the same dimensions of the table in the fair, which will be 1.80 X 0.80 meters. I hope you like it.

countdown to the fair and my birthday!

Today is my birthday, and just 5 days to the fair! Since, it is raining and I still have lots of things to do, I will stay at home (I love to be at home....), and I am going to make some experiences with the table for the fair.

Do you remember those frames...? and those things I made with molds, now they are getting together. But i love the half pots, I think they will be great in a balcony, veranda, porch, against a wall, or why not in an entrance of a mediterrean style house....

Beds need a cover and a few pillows, so I have done them for my little beds. (the covers need iron...), but I want to show the fabrics and colours I have chosen. Now i am going to finished a few more things. Not to much time to the fair!!!

I love teapots, in the real life I have a quite huge collection, most of them are in a cupboard in my living room....and last December, the very well known Brazilien miniaturist Regina Passy-Yip and her daugther came to Lisbon as tourists and I met both. Regina is the most sweet and wonderful person, we all had dinner here at home, it was just fantastic. of course she saw my teapot collection, and now she has made to me these wonderful tiny teapots, the gigger is just 1.8 cm, yes 1.8cm!!!!!! I am in love with all, just see the super tiny teapot in the lid of one of them. I want to make a cupboard similar to my real scale one to put them there.

Do you remember the 2 little greenhouse I bought a few weeks ago? This is what i made with the larger one. I hope you like it

just a few things...

I have been playing with that stuff for making molds, one part blue other white and I have now several molds...and here is the result. The bowls at the top right aren´t made with molds, they are an experience for making some "contemporary decorative ceramics", my own design....well I must improve, but for the first experience I like them.

Finished!!!! or not...

I have just finished the painted Portuguese style bedroom set, I am not sure if I am going another piece, probably a chest since this piece is very typical in this kind of furniture.
